Abstract:
To provide a water-based white ink for ink-jet recording, that has excellent discharge stability during ink-jet recording and can provide recorded matter having excellent whiteness, adhesion to a substrate, scratch resistance, and water resistance even when recording is performed on a recording medium with low liquid absorption.SOLUTION: Provided is a water-based white ink for ink-jet recording, comprising titanium oxide, two polyurethane resins A and B having different glass transition temperatures, where the polyurethane resin A has a glass transition temperature of 40-95°C, the polyurethane resin B has a glass transition temperature of 5-20°C, a mass ratio of the polyurethane A to the polyurethane B, (A/B), is 0.4-3, and a content of titanium oxide in the ink is 3-14 mass%.SELECTED DRAWING: None
