Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost water heater which copes with reduction of a gas supply amount to a burner without causing temporary fluctuation of a hot water supply temperature due to an intentional and temporary reduction of an opening of a gas passage.
SOLUTION: This water heater is provided with a deviation measuring means 42 measuring a deviation between a target combustion quantity Q' of a burner, which is set by combustion control means 41 based on a measured value Θ1 of a water supply temperature by a water supply thermistor 36, a measured value Θ2 of a hot water supply temperature by a hot water supply thermistor 37, and a measured value v of a flow rate by a water flow rate sensor 35, and combustion quantity Q of the burner 1. This water heater is also provided with a correcting means 43 which correctively reduces the maximum value Qmax' of the target combustion quantity of the burner 1 based on the deviation measured by the deviation measuring means 42.
