Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To excellently feed a film by setting the film to be in an adequately tightened manner.
SOLUTION: A packaging film expanded in a packaging unit S is folded to a lower side of an article 35 to package the article 35. A film carrier 1 feeds the packaging film obtained by cutting a film 30 drawn out of a film roll 29 to a predetermined length to the packaging unit S. An electromagnetic brake 40 feeds the film 30 by the film carrier 1 to brake the rotation of the film roll 29 generated when drawing the film from the film roll 29. A treatment device 38 controls the drive of the electromagnetic brake 40 according to the dimension in the width direction and the material of the film 30, and the outside diameter and the film carrying speed of the film roll 29, and the film roll stop timing at which the rotation of the film roll 29 is stopped can be set to a substantially constant relationship t6 the film feed stop timing to stop the feed of the film 30 by the film feeder 1.
