Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a water-in-oil type emulsified cosmetic, excellent in emulsification stability even by blending a large amount of a silicone oil therewith and having refreshingness by adding an amine derivative having a specific structure or its acid addition salt to a system comprising a silicone oil and a silicone-based emulsifying agent.
CONSTITUTION: This cosmetic is obtained by adding an amine derivative of formula 1 (R1 is a hydrocarbon or the hydrocarbon having a hetero-atom; R2 to R6 are each H or a hydrocarbon; X is O or COO) or its acid addition salt to a system comprising a silicone oil, a polyoxyalkylene-modified silicone, an alkyl glyceryl ether-modified silicone or a polyether-alkyl-modified silicone. 1-(2-Hydroxyethylamino)-3-isostearyloxy-2-propanol, etc., are especially cited as the compound of formula 1, which is obtained by reacting a glycidyl ether or ester derivative of formula 2 with an amine derivative of formula 3. A volatile silicone oil is preferred as the silicone oil.
