PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof plate device capable of easily enhancing cut-off performance when a waterproof plate moves up.SOLUTION: A waterproof plate device includes: a waterproof plate 20 which moves up over a road surface to dam up water; a waterproof plate housing pit 2b formed under the road surface so as to house the waterproof plate; a catchment pit 2a formed to allow water to flow therein; a catchment bucket 19 capable of moving up and down in the catchment pit according to the weight of water reserved in the catchment pit; a transfer mechanism moving the waterproof plate up and down as the catchment bucket moves up and down; a seal member coming into contact with the waterproof plate in a posture such that the waterproof plate moves up most; pushing means 21, 24 arranged at a pressing member and the waterproof plate and paired by a reception member pairing with the pressing member. The pushing means has a surface inclined to at least one of the pressing member and reception member, and the inclined surface is pressed as the pressing member and reception member comes into contact with each other in the posture in which the waterproof plate moves up most, so that the waterproof plate is pressed against the seal member.
