Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent dissolved wax from being infiltrated from a gap between a base and a handle into a space part, where an electric part is arranged, concerning a wax iron for ski, in which the wax is applied to the sliding plane of the ski while melting the wax with a heated base.
CONSTITUTION: A side wall 19 is erected upward around a base 17 to be heated by a heater 18, a space part 21 for arranging a thermostat 20 is formed inside the side wall, a lid body 22 is fixed on the upper surface of the side wall 19, the space part 21 is covered and sealed. Then, a handle 24 is installed above this lid body 22.
