Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further shorten consolidation time while suppressing cost increase.
SOLUTION: A drain 2 is vertically driven into the weak ground 1 containing a large quantity of moisture, and a water permeable layer for drainage is laid on the weak ground 1. Load 4 is then constructed thereon. Drain material 5 forming the drain 2 contains osmotic pressure generating material for generating osmotic pressure between the drain material 5 and pore water 6 in the weak ground 1, and osmotic pressure is generated simultaneously with excess pore water pressure to speed up the flow of the pore water 6.
