PURPOSE: To provide constant thickness of an area adjacent to a clip insertion part of the captioned molding and also satisfactory fitting thereof to a car panel, by forming said insertion part with sheet-like members made of synthetic resin and stuck together.

CONSTITUTION: An interior resin part 8a and an exterior resin part 8b, adjacent to a clip insertion hole 10 of a fitting wall 9 of a metal profile 4 with a sectional form like an inverted letter of U, are formed with sheet-like members of the constant thickness made of synthetic resin and stuck together. Further, a clip insertion hole 10 is formed by means of shearing process in the resin parts 8a, 8b set up by sticking the sheet-like members together. A resin part 8 and lips 5, 6, 7 in other parts are formed through extrusion process.
