Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the extension length of weft from the tip of a main nozzle for weft inserting in a waiting tile for weft inserting.
SOLUTION: A stationary knife 24 and a mobile knife 21 are laid in parallel in this order from a main nozzle 12 side for weft inserting to a woven fabric W side. A knife line 241 of the stationary knife 24 is arranged approximately in parallel with the face of a woven fabric W. In weft cutting, the tip 151 of an accelerating tube 15 is projected to a thickness range D of the stationary knife 24 right above the stationary knife 24. Namely, a plane H including a rocking locus of the tip 151 of the accelerating tube 15 is installed within the thickness range D of the stationary knife 24.
