Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a welder in which grinder work is alleviated while increasing the yield of welding material.
CONSTITUTION: A driver having a driving pipe 2 for imparting rotational and vertical driving force to a welder torch 7 is set from below a lower mirror 9 through a through hole of a control rod driving mechanism and then the driver is secured pneumatically in the through hole. A welder head 1 having a mechanism for altering the inclination angle of the welder torch 7 with respect to a drive shaft for altering the diameter of the welder torch 7 from above a control rod driving mechanism stub 8, a mechanism for moving the welder torch up and down to sustain the arc voltage at a constant level during welding work, and a mechanism for feeding an additional wire is set on the driving pipe 2 by means of screws. The control rod driving mechanism stub 8 having groove face matched with the lower mirror 9 is then subjected to TIG welding.
