PURPOSE: To efficiently install a strong, adequately sealed body inside an underground wall by bundling an overlapped portion of the sealed body arranged in the underground wall, washing after ejecting a filler and welding by a welding machine suspended from the surface of the ground.
CONSTITUTION: A filler 102 such as bentonite is filled in a continuous gutter for building a slurry trench wall for blocking underground a garbage filled-up land, and sealed bodies 102, 103 are so arranged from the ground surface as to overlap in the length direction of the slurry trench wall. Next, the overlapped portion of the sealed body is bundled by half bodies 104, 105 of the housing made of a steel plate. At both ends of the half bodies, double-woven belts 106, 107 made of a rubber, etc., are provided and the inside of the housing is sealed. A filler inside the sealed housing is discharged, the overlapped portion is cleaned and welded and fixed by a welding machine, and the housing is recovered to the ground surface. In this way, the sealed bodies can be joined together, strongly, definitely and efficiently.
