Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a white cell removing filter supporting body which hardly damages a white cell removing filter and blood bag, etc., at the time of centrifugal sepn. and to provide the white cell removing filter supporting body which can be easily and surely set without complexity in operation at the time of setting the supporting body in a centrifugal cup together with the blood bag, etc.
CONSTITUTION: This flat planar white cell removing filter supporting body 1 is used at the time of housing a bag system connected with at least the flat white cell removing filter 2, a blood taking bag 4 and bags 5, 5' for blood sepn. to tubes into a centrifugal cup 3 and executing centrifugal sepn. The white cell removing filter supporting body 1 is housed in a centrifugal cup 3 in a centrifugal direction and has the height substantially equal to the depth within this centrifugal cup 3 or below, the width equal to the diameter of the base of the centrifugal cup or below and the thickness equal to (about equal to) the width of the white cell removing filter. The supporting body has the space part for holding or housing the white cell removing filter 2.
