Title:
WIDTHWISE APPROACHING ROLLER CONVEYOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2783171
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To securely transmit the rotation to a roller smoothly and surely by driving respective rollers by means of a driving rotary shaft arranged under a widthwise approaching roller group and aligned in the longitudinal direction through an endless belt.
CONSTITUTION: In the power transmission device 18, a bearing 22 is provided capably of being up and down swung on a bracket 19 integratedly formed with a bearing 11. In a driven piece 29 provided on the lower part of the bearing 22, by pushing the part under a pivot 21 by means of an operating device 30 such as linear solenoid, a transmission roller 24 is contacted with a carrier roller 13 as widthwise approaching roller, a round belt 41 is tensed, and rotation of a driving rotary shaft 36 is transmitted to the carrier roller 13 through the transmission roller 24. When the driven piece 29 is not pushed by the operating device 30, the transmission roller 24 is separated from the carrier roller 13 by the dead weight and tension of the round belt 41. At this time, a brake shoe 28 is brought in contact with the carrier roller 13 so as to obstruct the rotation. Namely, rotation of the carrier roller 13 can be controlled by one power transmission device 18.
