To provide a winding device that requires no maintenance for manually removing cotton fly, by preventing the cotton fly from adhering to a drive mechanism of a magazine of a bobbin supply section.
The winding device includes: a yarn feeding section 11 for holding a bobbin 1 from which a yarn 2 is unwound; a winding section 12 for winding the yarn 2 unwound from the bobbin 1 held by the yarn feeding section 11, around a winding tube 3; and the bobbin supply section 13 for supplying the bobbin 1 to the yarn feeding section 11. The bobbin supply section 13 includes a magazine 33 for accommodating the plurality of bobbins 1, a guide chute 34 for guiding the bobbin 1 to the yarn feeding section 11 from the magazine 33, and a drive mechanism 46 for rotating the magazine 33. The drive mechanism 46 is arranged on the undersurface side of a base 41 for supporting the magazine 33, and is covered in a hermetically-sealed manner with a dustproof cover 81 attached to the base 41.
