Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a wire feeding device where excellent feedability and operability of wire can be obtained by arranging a clamp unit and a wire holding means in a proper manner, and setting the moving direction of the clamp unit to the axial direction of the tapered surface.
CONSTITUTION: When the tip of the wire 12 is inserted from the right end side of a clamp unit 8 to the left, the diameter of the space 6 is increased to the value larger than the diameter of the wire 12, and the tip of the wire 12 can be easily passed to the left end of the clamp unit 8. When an electromagnet 11 is turned on, the clamp unit 8 is attracted by the electromagnet 11 to start the movement in the direction A. and a spherical body 4 moves to the direction B. The spherical body 4 is moved long the side surface 3 to the center axis, and the space 6 is contracted to hold the wire 12. When the unit 8 is further moved, the wire 12 is also moved. When the electromagnet 12 is turned off, the unit 8 is separated from the side surface 8, and the space 6 is expanded. The wire 12 is held by a wire holding means 13, and the wire 12 is not moved. The wire 12 is fed by repeating this.
