To provide a woody cement plate having a deep rugged pattern in the surface.

The woody cement plate is manufactured by applying a material mixture mainly composed of a hydraulic inorganic material, material containing siliceous matter and a wood reinforcing material, to a base to form a mat, and curing and hardening the mat in an autoclave. Thermoplastic resin and/or thermosetting resin is mixed or impregnated in the surface part and/or the back face part of the woody cement plate for reinforcement. In this manner, the deep rugged pattern without chips or holes is formed on the surface.
