Abstract:
To provide a method for predicting a work roll wear amount of a rolling machine, which makes it possible to highly precisely predict a work roll wear amount distribution in a body length direction of a work roll during a rolling operation.SOLUTION: A method for predicting a work roll wear amount of a rolling machine is provided which is designed to predict and calculate a work roll wear amount per rolled material by using a rolling load, a plate width, a plate length after rolling, a roll diameter, a forward slip, and a backward slip in each rolling pass during a hot rolling by at least two upper and lower work rolls.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
