Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work table with a processing device and a control method for a work table with a processing device, which are able to detect the position of the processing device highly accurately, reduce maintenance load, and reduce costs.SOLUTION: A printer 100 comprises: a scale movably provided in an X direction integrally with a scale support; a detecting section movably provided in the X direction integrally with a carriage support 31 and configured to detect a pattern of the scale; and a control unit 50 that, after the carriage support 31 is moved a predetermined distance in the X direction while the scale support is kept stopped, the scale support is moved in the X direction so as to follow the carriage support 31 while the carriage support 31 is kept stopped.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
