Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a configuration of a workpiece transferring device having a phase adjusting mechanism and reduce the cost.
SOLUTION: A first sprocket 2 is fixed to a driven shaft 24 to which a rotation of a motor shaft 44 and then a second sprocket 4 is rotatably supported. Each of bevel gears 26, 32 is fixed to both sprockets 2, 4 and a center gear 38 is rotatably fitted between both bevel gears. An intermediate bevel gear 42 is rotatably supported at the center gear 38 through a radial shaft 40 and concurrently engaged with both bevel gears 26, 32. A transmission gear 50 is fixed to the motor shaft and engaged with the center gear 38. A first bevel gear 52 is fixed to the motor shaft 44, a second bevel gear 54 engaged with the first bevel gear 52 is connected to the driven shaft 24 in its rotating direction and movably supported in an axial direction. In the case that a clearance between a forward holding member and a rearward holding member fixed to a chain applied around each of both sprockets 3, 4 is adjusted, the motor shaft 44 is stopped to cause the second bevel gear 54 to be axially moved.
