Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a woven fabric by an air-jet loom, capable of weaving a woven fabric without using a catch cord, and managing to shorten the length of a trimmed selvage as much as possible, while taking account of economical efficiency in manufacture of a woven fabric and keeping the conventional fabric quality.SOLUTION: This method comprises: adjusting the measured length of a weft yarn to the length including the selvage of the fabric after weaving, in regard to the width fed to the reed in the fabric to be woven by an air-jet loom; and choosing a leno yarn which is easy to hold ends of the weft yarns.SELECTED DRAWING: None
