Title:
WOVEN OR KNIT FABRIC PRODUCED BY USING SERICIN FIXING METHOD FROM RAW SILK
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2000119973
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To produce a woven or knit fabric of silk by improving the properties of the woven or knit fabric such as shrink resistance, crease resistance and morphological stability, carrying out a skeleton triazine cross-linking reaction using sericin fixing method for raw silk and then removing sericin by a specific degumming process.

This production method of woven or knit fabric of silk comprises a process for treating raw silk and/or cellulose fibers using sericin fixing method, a process for doubling and twisting the sericin fixed raw silk and/or cellulose fibers, a process for weaving and knitting, a process for swelling by immersing the fabric comprising woven or knit fabric to swell in a tank and a process for applying an enzyme degumming to the swelled woven or knit fabric in the tank, and imports shrink resistance, crease resistance and morphological stability to the woven or knit fabric.
