Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wrapping-paper-register-mark detector having an automatic sensitivity adjustment function for a wrapping machine and bag-making machine which is capable of correcting register-mark displacement at real time even during high-speed wrapping, by preventing the A/D conversion of an analog signal, a sensor signal, at the time of an actual operation, and hence the occurrence of a time lag at the time of mark detection.
SOLUTION: At the time of the operation of adjusting sensitivity, light is emitted to the edge of the end of wrapping paper W by means of a photoelectric sensor 1 to output analog signals a1 and a2 corresponding to reflected light, they are converted into digital signals b1 and b2 by an A/D converter 2, and the average value c [=(b1+b2)/2] of the two digital conversion values b1 and b2 is calculated by a control device 8. At the time of an actual operation, the analog signals a1 and a2 output from the photoelectric sensor 1 and a digital signal d into which a digital signal c output from the control device 8 is converted by a D/A converter 3 are input into a comparator 4 to perform computation, and its output signal is input into the control device 8 to detect a mark.
