A cotton twill fabric is subjected to preliminary treatments such as a singeing treatment, a desizing treatment, a scouring treatment, a bleaching treatment and a mercerizing treatment, subjected to a calendering treatment at a temperature of 30-190°C in a pressure of 20-100kg/cm2, subjected to a wrinkling processing in a collected state like to a rope, expanded, allowed to pass through a roller sander machine, etc., to raise the fibers on the surface, and subsequently subjected to a vat-dyeing treatment.
