To provide an X-ray CT apparatus capable of obtaining an image of high precision and high resolution by preventing blurring of the image caused by vibration of a bed top panel, etc.
The image data are reconstructed by detecting the position of an X-ray source 15, an X-ray detector 17 or the bed top panel 29 by a position detector 47, obtaining the relative positional information among the X-ray source 15, the X-ray detector 17 and the bed top panel 29 from the actually detected positional information, and correcting X-ray projection data according to the relative positional information. For example, image data are reconstructed using X-ray projection data detected by an X-ray detecting element located at a position displaced by a quantity equivalent to the quantity of displacement of the bed top panel 29 if the bed top panel 29 is displaced with vibration etc. In this way, displacement of the bed top panel 29 can be offset by correcting the X-ray projection data according to the quantity of displacement and reconstructing the image data, and as a result, the image with high precision and high resolution can be obtained.
