Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a yarn splicing device capable of appropriately splicing first and second yarn ends.SOLUTION: A yarn splicing device 10 comprises: a first untwisting portion 40A that untwists a first yarn end by taking in the first yarn end and applying airflow to the end; and a second untwisting portion 40B that untwists a second yarn end by taking in the second yarn end and applying airflow to the end. The yarn splicing device 10 also comprises a first electromagnetic valve 46A, a second electromagnetic valve 46B and a control portion 47 as untwisting state adjusting portions that adjust the untwisting states of the first and the second yarn ends which are untwisted at the first untwisting portion 40A and the second untwisting portion 40B. The untwisting state adjusting portions make the airflow applied to the first yarn end in the first untwisting portion 40A and the airflow applied to the second yarn end in the second untwisting portion 40B different from each other so that the untwisting states of the first and second yarn ends are equal to each other.
