Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a yarn splicing device capable of detecting a malfunction of yarn untwisting, a winding unit, a textile machine and a yarn splicing method.SOLUTION: A yarn splicing device 10 comprises: a first untwisting portion 40A and a second untwisting portion 40B that take in and untwist divided yarn ends YA and YB respectively; and a yarn splicing portion 50 that twists the yarn ends YA and YB untwisted respectively by the first untwisting portion 40A and the second untwisting portion 40B together. In the first untwisting portion 40A and the second untwisting portion 40B are provided respectively untwisting monitoring portions that monitor the untwisting states of the yarn end YA and the yarn end YB.
