A yarn take-up apparatus 100 includes a spinning twist machine 10 to spin filaments F, a godet roller group 20 to feed yarns Y formed by combining the filaments F, and a yarn winder 30 to wind the yarns Y fed from the godet roller group 20 around bobbins B. While a yarn threading operation is performed on godet rollers 21 and 22, a circumferential speed of the godet rollers 21 and 22 forming the godet roller group 20 is set to a threading operation speed Vs lower than a circumferential speed in a taking-up operation period Pw and increased to a taking-up operation speed Vw after the threading on the godet rollers 21 and 22 is completed and before the taking-up of the yarns Y by threading on the bobbins B is started. A circumferential speed of the bobbins B is set to the taking-up operation speed Vw before the taking-up of the yarns Y by threading on the bobbins B is started.
