Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a yarn winder capable of tearing off a yarn end from a package.SOLUTION: A winder unit comprises: a cradle for holding a package; a contact roller that can come into contact with the surface of the package; an air cylinder for moving the package between a contact position in contact with the contact roller and a non-contact position separating from the contact roller; and a package drive motor for rotating the package. The package drive motor performs a normal rotation which rotates the package in a winding direction for a set period α in a lift-up state where the package having a yarn end is separated from the contact roller.
