Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for conducting a zero adjustment of a load cell for detecting a back pressure of a screw accurately in a short time, in an electromotive injection molding machine.
SOLUTION: A screw 4 is incorporated inside a barrel 2 and a ball screw 7 is connected to its edge portion via a load cell 5 and further a servo motor 8 is connected to the ball screw 7. At first the barrel 2 is moved backward to be separated from a die 1 and then the screw 4 is moved to an intermediate position of its stroke. Then after the screw 4 is moved forward for a predetermined time, the pressure of the servo motor 8 is gradually decreased to stop the servo motor 8 and to detect the output of the load cell 5. The output of the load cell 5 is adjusted so that a calculated average value of the outputs after moving forward and after moving backward, the value being regarded as the output of the load cell 5 under an unloaded state, becomes zero.
