Abstract:
To provide a zirconia composition that is not easily affected by temperature unevenness in a kiln when calcined bodies are prepared, and to provide a zirconia composition and a calcined body that can maintain translucency of the sintered body while shortening the firing time.SOLUTION: A composition of the invention contains a zirconia powder with 55% or more of monoclinic crystal and a stabilizer that can suppress the phase transition of the zirconia. The average particle size of zirconia particles and stabilizer particles is 0.06 to 0.115 μm. At least a portion of the stabilizer does not form a solid solution in the zirconia.SELECTED DRAWING: None
