Abstract:
To provide a glass run for automobile in which deterioration in acoustic insulation between itself and a door glass is suppressed even during high speed travel of a vehicle and so on, and quietness inside an automobile against sounds outside the automobile is improved.SOLUTION: A glass run 20 is attached to an inner peripheral side of a door frame for an automobile door, and has a vertical guide part 21 which guides lifting and lowering of a door glass G that is so provided on the automobile door as to be capable of lifting and lowering. The vertical guide part 21 has: a stem 30; an in-vehicle side wall part 40 extended from an in-vehicle side of the stem 30; an out-vehicle side wall part 60 which is extended from an out-vehicle side of the stem 30, and forms a groove-shaped cross-sectional shape together with the stem 30 and the in-vehicle side wall part 40; an inner lip 90 which is obliquely extended to the door glass G side from the in-vehicle side wall part 40; and a hollow outer lip part 80 which is provided on the door glass G side of the out-vehicle side wall part 60, and forms a closed cross-sectional shape together with the out-vehicle side wall part 60 in a cross-sectional view of the vertical guide part 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
