Title:
IDLE REVOLUTION NUMBER CONTROL DEVICE FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3204163
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To favourably hold an idle revolution number at a target revolution number even in an internal combustion engine provided with a pneumatic operation mechanism such as active mount control.
SOLUTION: A bypass passage 49 to by-pass a throttle valve 46 is provided in an air intake passage 32 of an engine 11, and air flow quantity of the passage 49 is regulated by opening control of an idle speed control valve(ISCV)49a. Additionally, the engine 11 is supported on an active control mount(ACM) 61, and feeding and exhausting of air to and from the ACM 61 is carried out through an atmospheric air passage 74 communicated to the air intake passage 32, a negative pressure passage 75, a vacuum switching valve(VSV) 73, etc. Thereafter, the ISCV 49a is driven and controlled so as to decrease air quantity flowing in the bypass passage 49a at the time of a driving state of the VSV 73 where air flows from the negative pressure passage 75 to the air intake passage 32 at the time of idling of the engine 11.
