Abstract:
PURPOSE:To practicably restrain the short of an electrode for higher reliability. CONSTITUTION:In manufacturing a display panel 1 of a matrix display type with electrodes Y parallel to each other, each electrode Y has one end led to the outside of a display medium sealing area ES together with the other end on the outside connection side. The electrode Y, in disconnected condition, has both ends electrically connected by wiring outside the sealing area ES. After the electrical connection, the electrodes Y except for the electrically connected electrode Y have one ends (y), protruded outside the sealing area ES, removed.
