Abstract:
To provide a coil component capable of securing connection reliability between a wire and a terminal electrode.SOLUTION: A coil component comprises: a core that includes a winding core part and a pair of flange parts provided to both ends of the winding core part; a wire wound to the winding core part; a terminal electrode provided to each of the pair of flange parts; and a conductive member that is provided to the terminal electrode, and electrically connects the wire and the terminal electrode. An outer surface of the terminal electrode includes: a first region; and a second region which has a lower wettability than that of the first region, and which is contacted to at least one part of an outer periphery of the first region. The conductive member includes a contact surface contacted to an outer surface of the terminal electrode. The contact surface is contacted to at least one part of the first region. At least one part of the outer periphery of the contact surface is contacted to the second region.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
