Abstract:
The present invention provides a coloring composition able to form a color filter having excellent lightfastness. The present invention relates to a coloring composition containing a compound represented by formula (I) and a compound represented by formula (II). [In formula (I) and formula (II), A1 and A2 each independently denote an optionally substituted heterocyclic group. D1 and D2 each independently denote an optionally substituted aromatic hydrocarbon group, with each of said aromatic hydrocarbon groups having at least one -CO2M group. Ra1 and Rd1 each independently denote an optionally substituted hydrocarbon group having 1-40 carbon atoms, an optionally substituted heterocyclic group or a hydrogen atom, with -CH2- groups contained in said hydrocarbon groups and -CH2- groups that do not constitute the ring of said heterocyclic groups able to be substituted with -O-, -CO-, -S(O)2- or -NR20-. Ra2 to Ra7 and Rd2 to Rd7 each independently denote an optionally substituted hydrocarbon group having 1-40 carbon atoms, an optionally substituted heterocyclic group, a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a cyano group, a nitro group, -CO2M or -S(O)2OM, with -CH2- groups contained in said hydrocarbon groups and -CH2- groups that do not constitute the ring of said heterocyclic groups able to be substituted with -O-, -CO-, -S(O)2- or -NR20-. Carbon atoms in Ra2 and Ra3, Ra3 and Ra4, Ra4 and Ra5, Rd2 and Rd3, Rd3 and Rd4, and Rd4 and Rd5 may bond to each other to form an optionally substituted ring, with -CH2- groups that do not constitute said ring able to be substituted with -O-, -CO-, -S(O)2- or -NR20-. M denotes a hydrogen atom or an alkali metal atom. R20 denotes a hydrogen atom, an optionally substituted hydrocarbon group having 1-40 carbon atoms or an optionally substituted heterocyclic group. In cases where a plurality of R20 and M are present, these may be the same as, or different from, each other. A wavy line indicates that an E-isomer, a Z-isomer or a mixture thereof is contained.]
