Abstract:

The device has a book block feeder (30) to feed book blocks (2) into import channel (11) along the conveying direction of import channel. A push-out unit (51) is provided to separately drive adjuster (14) of import channel and to provide import channel in the region of book block feeder. A drive unit is set to provide a push-off motion for starting push-out unit with respect to book block which is synchronously transfer to adjuster of import channel.
