To selectively jet cleaning water from a plurality of cleaning nozzles by a single cleaning pump, minimize cost increases and an increase in the entire size of the equipment, realize lower noise and water saving and clarify an optimum branching pattern in a dishwasher which washes dishes by jetting cleaning water from a plurality of cleaning nozzles.

The dishwasher has a plurality of cleaning nozzles 14, 15, 19 and 20 to jet cleaning water to clean dishes 7 are arranged in a cleaning tub 13 to clean dishes 7, a changeover device to change the supply of cleaning water to the cleaning nozzles 14, 15, 19 and 20 is provided, by sequentially jets cleaning water while sequentially repeating four patterns of underside left jet, underside right jet, back right jet and back left jet by changing cleaning nozzles to jet cleaning water by the changeover device.
