Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drawing model creation method and a drawing model creation system enabling the creation of a surface of a surplus wall part easily and quickly after the setting of the cross sections of the surplus wall part.SOLUTION: A drawing model creation system 1 creates a drawing model 9 including a surplus wall part 93 formed around a product part 91 from CAD data; and includes a storage device 8 that stores a plane grating, which is created with a plurality of feature points 101 respectively defined by individual XY-coordinates, a master cross section setting unit 42 that sets a plurality of master cross sections 931 to the surplus wall part 93, a slave cross section creation unit 43 that creates slave cross sections 933 and 935 between the adjacent master cross sections 931, a coordinate calculation unit 44 that projects the plane grating on a cross section group consisting of the master cross sections and slave cross sections and calculates Z-coordinates on the cross sections coinciding with the XY-coordinates of the feature points 101 as the Z-coordinates of the feature points 101, and a drawing model creation unit 45 that connects the feature points 101 having obtained the XYZ-coordinates to form into a polygon to create the drawing model 9 of the press-molding product.
