Abstract:
To provide an electronic component capable of preventing the removal of an external electrode.SOLUTION: An electronic component 1A comprises: an element body 3 containing ceramic; and an external electrode 5. The external electrode 5 has: a sintered metal layer E1 disposed on the element body 3; an insulative resin layer E2 disposed on the sintered metal layer E1; and a conductive resin layer E3 disposed on the insulative resin layer E2. The conductive resin layer E3 covers the insulative resin layer E2.
