Abstract:
To provide a plate winding laser welded steel pipe with a flange in which plastic distortion near a flange part is reduced, of which weight saving is achieved and which is excellent in bond strength of the flange part, and a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A plate winding laser welded steel pipe 1 with a flange comprises: a steel pipe part 2 in which a steel plate is molded into a tubular shape, and has a laser welded part 4 extending along a pipe axial direction; and one or two or more flange parts 3 which project from an outer peripheral surface of the steel pipe part 2 and extend along the laser welded part 4. The flange part 3 is a part of a steel plate which is formed in such a manner that one end 2a of the steel plate constituting the steel pipe part 2 is folded along the pipe axial direction, and is integrated to the steel pipe part 2 via a folded part 2b. The laser welded part 4 is a fillet welded part which is formed between the other end 2c of the steel plate and the folded part 2b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1C
