Abstract:
To provide an emergency call unit that can deliver information to the outside by utterance for a longer period of time when an abnormal situation occurs in a vehicle.SOLUTION: In a driver abnormality response system 1, an emergency call unit 10 installed on a vehicle 2 includes a main unit 10a, an operation unit 10b, and a speech unit 10c. The main unit stores an image photographed by a camera 13 in a storage unit 14 and, when an abnormal situation occurs, transmits sound information from the speech unit to a center 3 while transmitting the photographed image stored in the storage unit to the center. A power source unit 15 of the main unit supplies electric power from an on-vehicle battery 2a to each unit. A back-up power source 16 of the main unit supplies electric power to the speech unit and the main unit, and does not supply electric power to the operation unit when the power source is abnormal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
