Abstract:
PURPOSE: To realize a simultaneous token acquisition preventing system in plural stations with overlapped office numbers.
CONSTITUTION: The stations Oa, Ob with overlapped office numbers and the station N of another office number are started up at the same time, and timers (a), (b) and (n) are activated. Each station determines primary line monitoring time T1-O and T1-N respectively. After T1-O, the station Oa sends a request frame 21 on the basis of the timer (a), and the station Ob sends the request frame 26 with a dummy 25 added. In a secondary line monitoring state, the station Oa can not recognize the frame 26 as an effective frame, and sends the request frame 22. The station Ob can not recognize the station Oa, and continues monitoring because of the frame 21 being already passed, and before its end, it recognizes the presence of another station by receiving the request frame 22 of the station Oa ahead of the portion of the absence of the dummy frame, and stops participation to the network. Also, the station N recognizes another station, and interrupts token acquisition processing, and the station Oa acquires a token.
