Abstract:
To provide a fuel injection valve for enabling easy formation of a damper chamber without the need for highly accurate machining.SOLUTION: A fuel injection valve 10 includes a housing 100 where an injection hole 511 for injecting fuel is formed at one end in the longitudinal direction, a needle 200 to be moved in the housing 100 along the longitudinal direction to select the injection hole 511 to be opened/closed, a fixed core 400 fixed in the housing 100, and a movable core 300 movable in the housing 100 together with the needle 200, the movable core 300 having a large diameter part and a small diameter part constructed as separate members to slide along the inner peripheral face of the housing 100. At a position on the small diameter part side further than the large diameter part and around the small diameter part, a damper chamber 340 is formed to reduce the operation speed of the movable core 300.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
