Abstract:
To provide a furniture which can restrict friction caused between a floor surface and it at the time of switching from a movable state to a brake state, in which the brake state can be stably maintained without increasing load on a component.SOLUTION: A furniture includes a furniture body, a first brake switching mechanism, a second brake switching mechanism, a brake operation part, and an operation transmission mechanism. The first brake switching mechanism and the second brake switching mechanism include a brake block that projects downward and is grounded on a floor surface. The furniture body is provided with a lock part that restricts displacement of a downward-projecting first brake block at a setting projection position. The operation transmission mechanism includes a first operation switching mechanism, an intermediate movable body, and a second operation switching mechanism.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
