Abstract:
To provide a technique for realizing a gear mechanism capable of further reducing backlash.SOLUTION: A gear mechanism 100 is configured by disposing first and second gears 110 and 120 in such a manner that respective pitch circles P11 and P12 are contacted with each other. The first and second gears 110 and 120 respectively include: projected tabular parts 111 and 122 of which the shapes of outer edges are specified by projected regions positioned outside of the pitch circles P11 and P12 in a pair of a first circumferential triangular wave curve obtained by winding a triangular wave curve of which the cycle number is 1/2 of the number of teeth around the pitch circles P11 and P12 and a second circumferential triangular wave curve obtained by inverting the first circumferential triangular wave curve with respect to the pitch circles P11 and P12; and recessed tabular parts 112 and 121 of which the shapes of outer edges are specified by recessed regions positioned inside of the pitch circles P11 and P12 in the pair of circumferential triangular wave curves.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
