Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder transfer device and a powder transfer method having the injection form of an inert gas to effectively eliminate bridging formed by powders in a hopper.SOLUTION: A hopper interpolation nozzle 26 where a tip position can be adjusted in a height direction and an inert gas is injected in a hopper discharge port direction and inner wall surface nozzles 49, 50 and 51 where the inert gas is injected from the inner wall surface of the cone part 11a of a hopper to the inside of the hopper are provided in the hopper. Powders around a hopper discharge port are pushed out by the injected inert gas from the hopper interpolation nozzle, bridging formed around the hopper discharge port is eliminated and then a cavity is formed around the hopper discharge port. Further, the inert gas is injected from the hopper inner wall surface nozzles, the bridging formed around the hopper discharge port is collapsed and fallen into the cavity formed around the hopper discharge port and then smooth transportation is realized.
