Abstract:
To reduce the load on a control unit required for distortion correction of a video.SOLUTION: A head-mounted type display device 100 comprises: a control unit 88 that corrects a video; a display element 11 that displays the video corrected by the control unit 88; a first optical member 22 on which video light corresponding to the video is incident; and a reflecting member 23 that reflects the video light from the first optical member 22 to project a virtual image corresponding to the video. The first optical member 22 and the reflecting member 23 correct distortion related to the virtual image in a first direction, and the control unit 88 corrects the video according to distortion related to the virtual image in a second direction intersecting the first direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
