Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which accurately synchronizes driving modes of a plurality of motors.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: a main device 101 which controls driving of a resist roller (resist motor 120) conveying paper; a sub device 102 which controls driving of a paper feeding roller (paper feeding motor 140) conveying the paper toward the resist roller; and a resist sensor 123 which detects the paper conveyed from the paper feeding roller to the resist roller. The main device 101 transmits a packet including an instruction of change timing of a driving mode of the paper feeding roller and a generation time of the trigger to the sub device 102, when changing the driving mode of the resist roller with detection of the paper by the resist sensor 123 as a trigger. The sub device 101 changes the driving mode of the paper feeding roller at a timing such that the change timing of the received packet is corrected according to the generation time of the trigger and a time when the packet is received.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
