PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a conveyance guide and a sheet support portion from being damaged when the conveyance guide is moved.SOLUTION: A sheet support device includes: a conveying lower guide guiding a sheet above a cassette 31; a second holding member holding the conveying lower guide at a holding position; and a regulation mechanism which regulates movement of the second holding member from a holding position to an allowable position in a process of mounting the cassette 31 on and attaching/detaching the cassette to/from a printer body, and allows the movement of the second holding member from the holding position to the allowable position in a state where the cassette 31 is removed from the printer body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
