PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer storage container that can improve stability in sealing and opening a shutter with respect to a developer discharge port, and an image forming apparatus including the same.SOLUTION: A container shutter 32 makes a slide movement with respect to a toner discharge port 30P according to a change in attitude of a container body 31. The container shutter 32 comprises a shutter body 32A including a sealing surface that seals the toner discharge port 30P, and a shutter stopper 32B that is attached to the back face on the opposite side of the sealing surface of the shutter body 32A. The shutter stopper 32B rotates between a slide movement regulation position for regulating the slide movement of the container shutter 32 and a slide movement permission position for permitting the slide movement of the container shutter 32. The container shutter 32 further includes an axial movement regulation part 32C that regulates a movement in the axial direction of a pair of stopper axis parts 32B31 in the shutter stopper 32B.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9A
